One of our teams was recently called upon by a valued client to empty & clean an oil bund as part of pre planned maintenance works. We used a combination unit  in conjunction with high pressure wash down to remove the debris and safely transported and disposed of the oily waste to a licensed disposal point and provided a Duty of Care sheet to the client for audit purposes.

Regular maintenance and inspections of oil bunds is essential to ensure the integrity of the bund. Consideration should also be given to the associated drainage to allow the dispersal of rainwater to prevent overspills or contamination thus preventing environmental issues.
